So circa '68 Del Mar informs CalRacing that they don't want to run in the fall and simply have a summer meet leaving a non-running SoCal schedule from Sept to Nov. In comes Clement Hirsch & Dr. Jack Robbins who form the Oak Tree Racing Accoc., and rather than building a new venue they merely rent SA for a fall meet starting in '69 and there you have it.
