Not sure if this was covered yet but the belmont showdown starts today.

Favorite Sweep is my pick. Anybody else have an entry in the contest?

Altese in the 3rd. Only a 4 horse field but I don't feel confident. I've gotten knocked out of these Showdown contests before in a short field like this.
There is no show betting on this race so I would imagine I will be gone if I finish 3rd in this race. I don't know how the rules are worded.
The problem with this contest is you cannot make any changes once you submit your selection. Also it does not look like you can make a selection a day in advance which will certainly screw up a lot of people who will be away on weekends.

I am off to a good start in the contest. I chose the 6 horse in the first race which paid $13.80 for the win bet. I will be looking at the card for tomorrow to make my selections. I wish everyone the best whom is participating in the contest.
