Nice try guys. Weren't you a little suspicious with the drop off the claim? What about the horse running at Philly for a smaller purse. What about the horse moving from Contessa's barn. Are you not even a little suspicious of his "training methods". You get exactly what you deserve. :)

I wonder if the person who invented the term "rose-colored glasses" was mistaken about the tint because he was looking at a red board.

Let's see ... the horse wins three races this year, including a stake at Monmouth.

Tried the turf and was beaten less than four lengths by Red Giant, who came right back to win the $1,000,000 Virginia Derby-G2 before finishing second in the Secretariat-G1 at Arlington.

He then turned in a career-best effort at Belmont for a $75,000 tag (despite stumbling at the start), finishing second to Timber Reserve who came right back to win the $1,000,000 Pennsylvania Derby-G2.

This effort results in a huge drop to the $35,000 level???

He was claimed by a 27% barn that wins 32% off the claim ... but they keep him in the barn for five weeks, work him once and bring him back for $25,000?

Clearly there were issues.

Ten horses have now run at Philly with their previous race coming from Saratoga. NONE OF THEM HAVE WON. Five of them went off as the favorite. Is this a clue?

Horses coming from Philly to a NYRA track always deserve a second look. Especially if they bring the jock with them. Those leaving the NYRA track to go to Philly are usually on a steep decline.

Forget where I read this stat years ago, but favorites moving to a lesser circuit post a ROI about twice as bad as the track take (and therefore about 4x as bad as favorites in general).
