I know that was a joke, Tom, but you are probably right
I understand at Hollywood Park there is a sign as the horses go on the track from the barn area....enter at your own health risk....or something to that effect.
I was over at Santa Anita the other day, and let me tell you that stuff STINKS, it has a terrible order to it.
One of my friends who has been on it, since they opened it up, claims to have a headache every morning coming home from Santa Anita.
Stay tuned to this one.........

The item will be free to the first 15,000 fans with paid general admission and will include a color photo of a group of Thoroughbreds turning for home and an inscription documenting the significance of the enclosed soil.

The inscription: Remember when racing was fun to watch!

Considering the California market, that's probably the real estate bargain of the millennium!

Please consider this diatribe irrespective of my stated views:

That soil killed our horsies at an absolutely catastrophic rate ! Would you vacuum-pack dirt from Hiroshima or Treblinka ?
