Hawthorne Thoroughbred Races

To Ian at PTC. Thanks very much for offering the Hawthorne thoroughbred races. :ThmbUp: Their autumn-winter meet starts on Fri. Sept. 21/07. I've liked playing these Hawthorne races for years now. I never much cared for the Arlington ones.

I noticed too, that the CBS SPORTSLINE site is carrying the Hawthorne thoroughbred races on free live video on opening day of this meet. Hopefully they will be carrying it every day of the meet.

Any luck on CBS carrying more than the opening day live? At work so the final link won't work, but I did notice that they had a like to Live Racing on their menu.

I like playing Hawthorne too, the track seems to be a bit deeper & more tiring than usual this meet. I am treading lightly until the conveyor belt speed bias re-appears :)

I read an article yesterday about HAW - they are intentionally slowing it up.
Kind of an artificial "artificial" surface.

Thats a bummer, i was looking forward to playing horses from AP that showed speed & faded. Looks like the closers will be right at home.
