Don't confuse this product with a new handicapping product that is supposed to be released. you can read it about it in the handicapping software thread:

I downloaded it and checked out the demo files. What's the big deal? Hey, I want to be impressed. Looks like Formulator lite. Or, I am I missing something?

Since I don't use the "Form" printout, I'll stay with the old version 1.0. The new version really didn't do anything for me. Try it, however. It may be just what you want.

I dont see the big deal either Looks the same as older version The testers and pizzolla were raving it was the most amazing software you'll ever find. I emailed him about no trainer/jockey stats and he said he felt it was unimportant and probably wouldnt be included anytime soon. Doesnt do it for me.

And how is this any different than everything else he has put out? They also trumpet it as the greatest thing since, well, their last greatest thing. :jump:

For all of his talent as a salesman, Sartin could never hold a candle to the Master Magician.

Pizzolla did learn from the best though and the people he has and has had in his organization are some of the best. Eric Langhar (God rest his soul) was a rare combination of computer genius who knew the game of Horse Racing.

Dan Serra would be a breeding God in the days before computers. He can keep thousands of sires in his head and recite them verbatim. His numbers may well be the best in the game.

Also seems that Pizzolla is carrying on the Sartin legacy of ignoring the Jockey and Trainer.

Excuse me,let me say in defense of MP he doesn't carry trainer stats per se ,but there is a sidekick piece of software, produced by and with Dan Serra
that gives you insight to trainer and jockey moves and just this past week that software gave 2 trainer moves and both paid $100.00 .

Interesting. There weren't any $100 mutuels at the major tracks between September 9th and September 16th, inclusive, which would have been "last week". Which two horses did Serra come up with?

Why do you assume it was a major track?
Is that all he covers?

And he said this past week, not last week.

Dan Serra is the gold standard for professional handicappers. If HDW did not supply such great data and HTR allow you to use it, I would certainly look into any of his stuff.

p.s. I missed how someone else putting out a piece of software defends him? Seems like his customers want to go to one place for all the info and he is coming up with a billion dollar program to do it. Why leave it out important info his customers want?

Oh wait, I just had a light bulb come on, could it be to SELL another piece of software? Hmmmmmm!

Assuming that's correct, the first $100+ horse since Sep 8th was this past Monday, Sep. 17th. I'm curious which two horses Serra's program came up with. I have nothing but respect for Dan Serra, who I used to visit with all the time at the Gold Coast, although not for at least a year.

I was under the impression that when somebody stated something here that was supposed to be factual on this board, they were held accountable for it. I know that everything I say here gets put under scrutiny. That's fine, because I don't say anything that I'm not willing to stand by.

There were no $100 horses this "past week" of Sep 9 to Sep 16. There were a few this current week. I'm curious who they were.

I do believe it is FREE with the FREE PP software.

Here is a list

I know about that list, though I didn't have the horse at Prairie Meadows.

What I wanted to know, was which two horses Serra's program/report picked, according to turfbar.

The horse that won the race at Suffolk had a very postive trainer/jockey stat.

5/39 on dirt with an increible 4.06 ROI. The trainer was rated a D+ with HTR. The + meaning profitable and the D part meaning only bet them at long odds.

The 2 horses that Dan Serra mentioned were Maid of the Sea at FE on tuesday and then Polly'ys Tour at Suffolk on weds. I play FE frequently ,never play Suffolk so I was quite surprised. Take umbridge that I was BULLSHITTING!!!!

thanks Tom

Trainer and trainer/jockey patterns are an important part of my play. Does Dan Serra produce a report or a piece of software?

Where does one go to find the above? I am familiar with his name of course.
Thanks for input.

PosttimeDaily.com - has some of his stuff, and the new PP software - free include it somehow.

It is software used in compliance of MP, Post time daily website but now MP has a new website POSTTIMEDAILY.com and don't see it advertized HMMNP?
The soft ware program by Dan Serra is called the Professional Handicapper and he is allegedly releasing an upgrade SOON ,but yet no word hope this helps.

Hey,

I'm not too bright, so tell me how you go about importing races into the file. Live races that is ! Not the demos.

Thanks
