MSNBC reports that Pletcher is sending the Monkey to the Hollywood Park meeting in the Fall.

I wonder if he feels the artificial racing surface will be gentler on the Green Monkey's previously injured hiney. I wonder if he has a specific race in mind.

I thought the physical appearance of the Green Monkey was excellent. That was one good looking colt. I know that some trainers don't want to go all out with a first race and he did have some real nice colts as competition, so I'll be interested in his second start to see if he has an improvement.
