I fully understand th IHA provides for interstate parimutuel wagering on horses by any electronic means (which means internet, phone, etc.) However, under what legal authority does interstate parimutuel wagering on dogs fall under? The IHA is inapplicable. I am unaware of any other federal tatutory law on dogs. This is likely why the major ADW's like TVG, Youbet, XpressBet and others take no dog races on their menu of offerings.

Something to ponder as you consider on a lazy sunny Sunday.

Magna had plans to set up an account wagering site just for greyhound racing when they owned and ran Multnomah.

There was an article that touched on it in a publication. They owned the site http://www.xpressdogs.com/ which at one time took you directly to http://www.xpressbet.com/

What about Jai Alai (sp)?

You can open an account at CT OTB from many states and bet that sport.

Why not bet baseball or football or other sports pari-mutuelly? NASCAR, for example.

Is Jai Alai not a sport?
