Opening night produced some big numbers:
Race 1 - $13.80
Race 2 - $63.80
Race 3 - $10.00
Race 4 - $16.80
Race 5 - $7.40
Race 6 - $20.00
Race 7 - $6.00
Race 8 - $11.20
Race 9 - $16.40
Race 10 - $58.20
Early Pick Four (1-4): nobody hit it. $398.60 for 3/4
Late Pick Four (7-10): $8,590.80
Late Pick Four payoffs were somewhat interesting ... the #3, #10 and #11 were all 12/1 morning line in Race 10 ... #3 goes off at 16/1, #10 off at 28/1 and #11 off at 7/1 ... #10 is a much higher price yet the Pick Four with him pays $8,590 versus $12,866 with the #3 and $25,772 with the #11.
And the Late Pick Three with $11.20, $16.40 and $58.20 winners only returns $554 ... there were seven (7) runners in the 12-horse field with odds lower than the #10, yet he returned the 5th-lowest Pick Three payout.
The Early Pick Three (1-3) produced roughly similar winners yet the return was $4,498.80 ...
Can you really have a "live" horse that goes off at 28/1? Apparently ...
