This is the last week of MTH. Has anyone noticed that some of the races are looking rather "funny"??? Take the 7th and 8th races yesterday, the 2nd and third horse were quite wierd according to my standard...???? :confused:

We used to have a joke at Finger Lakes on the last doay of the season - when most at the time were heading to Florida Down for the winter.
The feature race of the day was named the "Travelers" in a take off of the Travers.:D

How about the winner in 5th at Saratoga yesterday. His last 2 races were at 4 1/2 fulongs at CT in dec and jan. Wins yesterday at 1 mile on the turf. FUnny game we play.

Hawthorne's last couple of days of the winter meet are bizarre. With the track shutting down from New Years to late Feb they are trying anything. Turf routers in 6f strints, running way over their head, etc.

-3rd best surface/distance speed over prior 3 races.
-Rated 3rd best "current class."
