I just don't get it...well really I do, but I still find it disappointing. Breeding as a business is doing its best to kill the sport. Take this story

http://breeding.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=40503

Half Ours was a very very fast juvenile and then he broke, got better, ran very fast, broke, got better and broke again. Why would you breed with this guy?????? He's sired by Unbridled's Song, a line that breaks alot. Yes, they are very fast, but they have a very high liklihood of breaking down. Guess those that do it just don't care and that makes me sad.

As I said on another forum...If Half Ours was a boat instead of a horse, he'd sink for all the holes.

I understand people breed to sell now a days, but come on, what the hell are they going to race once they've bred the thoroghbred into oblivion.
