Any one hear any rumors about this? If he is confirmed to be a starter I am going to go down to Philadelphia Park for sure on Monday for the big million dollar race. Reguardless I will probably go down was just wondering if hes a starter. I hear Xchanger, Barbaro, and Slew’s Tizzy might also run? Any one hear this?

I hereby go out upon a slender limb and predict ... ready ? ... Barbaro will NOT, I repeat, NOT run in the PD. He is being saved for the Pearly Gates Once-Around & Clambake. He will be winging early, per my sources.

well on http://www.paderby.com/ it says

Some others expected to fill out the ultra competitive lineup include multiple graded winner Slew’s Tizzy, Barbaro (G3) and Tesio winner Xchanger, and the super consistent Moyer’s Pond.

and it also says A late developing colt that may play a major role come Derby day is the Jump Start colt Cable Boy.

They also say A horse that remains on the fence but that would certainly strengthen the field is Jerry and Ann Moss’ Tiago lol

They meant the barbaro stakes race, not the horse.

kyle,

You stumbled upon an atrociously constructed sentence, whose composer should be compelled to listen to Rick Monday's blather ad infinitum. However, he DID leave a clue with the parenthetical Gr. III designation.

And commas. The commas are useful.

Penn Derby field should include most if not all of BWANA BULL, CABLE BOY, COTOWN CAT, GET SERIOUS, IMAWILDANDCRAZYGUY, SLEW'S TIZZY, XCHANGER, and ZANJERO.

We have the joy of being in PA Derby Day with our filly. The last race of the day, right after the big one. MSW, 8.5 panels on the weeds. At least the crowd will thin out substantially by then, having been completely frustrated by the lack of adequate and comfortable facilities in which to bet, eat, drink, sit and ...so on. :bang:

Considering that you recommended wagering on that one pace front end allowance sprinter in the Grade 1 Haskell, I would recommend that if indeed Cable Boy is running in the Pa Derby, that you stay as far away from Philly Park as possible on Monday. You'll save yourself $2.

Zanjero is the best 2nd tier 3YO in the country... i love how they are not being dumb and just racking up the money with him.

Imawildandcrazyguy... lol, I don't think this is enough distance for him.

How does the speed set up in this race compared to the WV Derby? I'm thinking this might be faster. I was hoping to see Delightful Kiss in this. Does anybody know if he came out of that last race ok?

I think Cable Boy is still running.

Back to the allowance races at the Meadowlands.
