Beware the suspicious drop

I usually bet against claiming horses dropping in class off wins, but beware of those 3yos for the next few days. Lots of 3yo claiming races are carded at the end of the year, and the sharp trainers know the value of their horse will be cut in half on January 1st and are trying for one last purse.

I can add......be careful of three year old......soon to be four year old drops into open fields....
Example...... a drop from a 16K 3 year old race into a 12.5 open is NOT a drop.
Pay attention to the calendar and the conditions.
