View Full Version : Laurel today
Since Aqu cancelled, I'll go back to my old stomping grounds and try a few at Lovely Laurel ;)
3rd I like the 1 here, competitive figures , good connections for the stretch out, and great post for the distance. Currently 4-1 at 4 MTP.

No speed, no money...next!
Note to self: Avoid Pha shippers.
CJ
Taking a shot with the longest odds in the field here, #6 Transcedent, currently 21-1. High speed in a bad field worth a bet for me.
CJ
Off the board, not a bad effort...next!
5th Race-Perhaps I'll get an education here. #2, shipper from Mnr sports the highest figs, but I have no idea how well they will translate to Laurel. I'll play him to win at 3-1 and box some exacta's with the 5.

Post Parade Analysis
Torch The Halls & Prado Power looked good - we'll soon see how they can run.
Anyone who watched, how the hell did I win that photo? I had chalked it up as a loss!
Anyway, $9 winner, I'll take it. Guess I learned Mnr figures transfer to Lrl nicely.

HEY TEE,
NICE AVATAR, DID YOU GO TO ASU ?
JIMMY / ILS
The #2, Pha shipper, taking all the money. I'll use the above posted "Note to Self" and go with #3 In The Clear.
CJ
Horse has dropped from 5-1 to 2-1 with 2MTP, no thanks, spectator time.

Hey Jimmy,
Thanx on the Avatar, I have Sparky on quite a few clothing items & golf bag etc - as for going to ASU, well I spent more time on the golf course than I did in the classroom(lol).
Thanx Again,
Tee
3 wins at 5-2, not too bad. Note to self affirmed, Pha horses stink! Off the board at 2-1.
CJ
Going with the #2 at 7-2, 1 is a bad favorite IMO.
Playing some small exactas back and forth with the 4, 8, and 9.
CJ
#2 gallops by 10 to the tune of $7.40...no exacta, but an easy score for the win.
CJ
Guess you can go home again. I will be in Md from 28-Dec to 4-Jan, may have to visit Lrl in person again!

This is copied from the Official chart...
COUNTRY JOE set the pace along the rail and narrowly prevailed by a fortuitous bob of his nose
That is too funny...fortuitous!
