Hello,
I am in need of some assistance from you...the horse racing industry experts.

I have a friend who on occasion likes to challenge me. My last task involved Marty Brennaman and my reward was Breeder's Cup tickets at Monmouth. No prize attached to this challenge. Just the satisfaction of finding the information and maybe gloat a little ;)

I am looking for the name of a person, most likely based out of California, who goes by the nickname "Lumpy" in the horse racing industry.

I had to find out what Marty has said during games on several occasions. The beginning letters were... A L G After listening to several games and enlistiing the help of others. I found out that he sometimes will say, "Ain't love grand". Alas, I'm heading to the Breeder's Cup! :D

Thank you for the information thus far, but still not the answer.

I did get the hint that it was a trainer of a Breeder's Cup winning horse and that he is originally from California, but could be found just minutes from Keeneland.

This is definitely a difficult one.
