Would anyone know of a Laser Printer that can print DOS. A techie at Staples gave me the name of such a Laser but I lost the info and the techie left staples. My HP with a parallel port is on its last legs.

Thanks.

Jingle,

There are several software converters for near any modern printer as long as you are running Windows.

Jingle,

I found a couple of interesting links after doing a quick Google search: laser printer DOS

Back in the early 90's I was bullish on the IBM 4019/4029 Laser Printers (I was working for Lexmark/IBM at the time! :)) These puppies did 'IBM PPDS' and 'HP PCL' emulation, had a parallel printer port interface, and were IBM Proprinter compatible. Also, you can use them with Windows, as well as DOS (They're present in the printer driver lineup listings). They've been discontinued, but still appear to be available. Before getting one (or any old printer for that matter), reseach the replacement toner prices. Also, investigate possibly refilling them yourself.
