#1 MAX'S GAL (4/5 ml) has superior connections with trainer Stephanie Beattie and owner Robert L. Cole Jr calling the shots and that is one reason for the 4/5 ml. But it looks like there is trouble in River City. Why the plunge to a lowly 6.5k conditioned claimer after winning a 30k allowance? Hmmmm...

I'm guessing that Mr. Cole and Ms. Beattie are hoping to unload this 3yo filly and squeeze the last bit of juice out of a horse that has made Cole nearly 66k since he claimed it for 12.5k last November at CRC, and is now damaged goods. I'm boxing the 2,4,5,7 in the exacta.
