Hi all,

About 10 minutes before the 2nd at the SPA.

Early Pick 4 wager:

3,6 with 1,4 with 5,7 with 1,2,9

I love the 6 Lava Cat but he is at 5/2 off a 12-1 ML

Looks sensational in the paddock and Forecourt looked the same way the day he went down the road against a short priced Tony Dutrow horse and there are several other but no names come to this aging brain.
Cuaba does not look good in the paddock.
Rather dull.
I am betting the 6 to win and place and a pick 3 play 4,6/all/2 and a 4,6 exacta box. and wheeling the 6 on top of the exacta.
good luck,
Ben

If i don't hit this pick 3 I'm really going to feel like a dummy.
I loved Cuaba going in and went off him because he had a dull appearance in the paddock.
Ridiculous especially since I've never seen the horse. Maybe she always looks that way.
Let a good winner get away with a good chance of cashing nothing.
Bad mistake.
In anyevent, my late pick 4 play is 2,3,6,7/1,3,6/2,4,6/1,8
$72 Play.
Hopefully will come alive into the last that way I can make tri's using the 1,8 for second only.
Cuaba. I hate it when I make mistakes like that.
Good luck.

Have this pick 3 for $16 so the days in the black for sure and the pick 4 to come.
What a price. 7/2. Thought he'd be around 6/5.
Love Saratoga in that aspect with all the tourist money. When we win, we usually get paid well.

Good job Ben. I missed the first leg but hit the next 3 so I had the P3 anyway.
What is the deal with all the CD runners having the run of the place so far?

I'm betting WILD QUAKE in the 6th.

A very good friend of mine who lives in Florida told me before the meet started to watch for Churchill shippers and that they do exceptionally well when they come.
He's an excellent handicapper and more importantly, a wonderful guy battling with an illness at 84 years of age.
BAck to racing. I talk to him every weekend when he goes to the Kennel club for simulcast and we go over the NY card.
In this race, Pegase Gem is loaded with talent and I think this trainer change will finally get this one to show her true colors.
6-1 too hard to resist.
Betting the 3 to win and place and an exacta box 2/3.
Good luck and nice hit. Now lets hit the pick 4 and make it a great day.

Ben,

Great call on the 3 in the sixth. Looked like a monster and will be one to keep an eye on. Hard to believe this one was only 1/18 going into today.
