Hi all,

Don't bet the buggies too much but I live about 30 minutes from The Meadows in Washington County, PA. I am thinking of making a visit tonight...the kids can watch the horses and the wife can blow her money on the one-arm bandits.

Does anyone play the races from The Meadows? Have any suggestions for tonight?

Thanks.
TS

Here are my top three picks for each race tonight at The Meadows. And BTW have you taken note of the HUGE purses at both the t-breds and s-breds now?? PHA today for t-breds has $1 million in purses. Chester Downs for s-breds just had a $300,000 race. The Penna Bred industry in going up in a big way.

R1 1-2-7
R2 5-3-8
R3 3-5-2
R4 4-2-5
R5 1-3-7
R6 1-3-4
R7 2-7-3
R8 5-1-7
R9 4-7-2
R10 8-1-7
R11 7-2-4
R12 5-1-4
R13 5-2-3
R14 1-2-7

TriSuper--Did you make it out to The Meadows that night? If so what were your impressions of the place with the slot machines in place. Was Roger "The Voice" Houston working that night? He has many fans but I call him the screamer. :) I think BillW is president of his fan club. :jump:

i live 30 mins the other side in the burg. they always crush palone. and my wife thinks he's cute. once in a while some big hits in the tri. palone can be 8-1 in the morning line and he'll be bet down to 2-1. there's another rider at the meadows who the crowd has been betting, but can't recall his name. he's new.
there is a saying at the otb's "bet the rent on Zendt!"
