DEL Race 6
#1 MUSICIAN’S PRIDE (7/2) finished 2nd (DQ’d to 3rd) in a fast main speed race at CT. That 6.5 two turn sprint was a good conditioner for the 5.5 one turn dash at DEL today—a distance that MP is a perfect 2 for 2 at. Gary Capuano has been just missing at DEL with 4 places in 12 starts. Unfortunately it looks like he is up against it again. Scott Lake’s entry, #3 SKELETON CREW (9/5), also ran a big race at CT winning a N4L allowance by 7 lengths and #4 CARL’S SMART (5/2) also fits this 25k open claimer well. No matter, I’m taking a shot on MP.

We have two key race runners in this conditioned 5k claimer, #2 AMERICAN WRITER (3/1) and #3 KING OF MOUNTAIN (5/2) each coming from different key races. I’m betting them both to win.
