Reminder - FRIDAY Post Time for the first race at Saratoga will be 2:45pm on the first Friday (7/27) and on Labor Day Friday (8/31).

It was 3pm for one Friday last year, and its 3pm on Fridays at Belmont. I wonder why they are kicking the first race off at 2:45?

How about the restaurants not being able to count on two sittings?
If people stay for all 9 races they don't get out until around 7:30.
Unless the restaurants can get a decent amount of non racegoers as patrons, they're going to suffer in that 5:30-7:45 time frame.

Nitpicking here - I haven't been to Saratoga for a few years, but I don't think there are too many saloons on Union Ave.
