BC Pools

Am I mistaken or is this the first year that all bets for the BC were put into one pool? In years past a track could purchase the races and run their own pool. Will the Trple Crown races follow? Would these guys have been caught if there were several pools outside of AP?

No Lou,they have had a comingled pool for some time.I think several years ago before simulcasting became so big,there were tracks that had their own pools,but once the BC started the Ultra pik 7(now pic 6) they all went into the host tracks pool.Thats why the payouts are so high,lotta dumb money comes in on BC day.The Triple crown races are co mingled (have been for awhile).I know Lou downs and Calder still have simulcasts of each others races and put the money into a separate pools.
