Watch board and whatever horse goes up 2 to 3 points, like from 8/1 to 6/1 or 5/1, bet that horse to show.... I've done it and it works most of the time.

I'm nuts for letting this out of the bag but here's my go to source.

Bet with the crowd on an average horse? I've heard worse!
Or you can try this: Use last finish position X 25 over current trainer yearly win % to get value odds; bet if tote odds are longer.

I've found that when the PUBLIC goes "hog wild' for a "hot pick or track tip", many, many times the pick doesn't hit the board.

I prefer to look at my pre race pix and look for the one who is overlooked and wager accordingly.

Consider that what you are doing is agreeing with the betting public. Most of the time, the "betting public" is wrong. ;)

whatever thoughts you have about smart money, disregard, as the
"wise Guys" don't telegraph their actions with late money.

In fact, late money is generally the final total of inter track and simulcasting facilities hitting the specific tracks pools.

Do your homework, analyze the race, your selection and its ability to win or finish in the money, and most of all, look for a value bet, not
the hot horse
