I invite the openminded to watch todays' 1st at Belmont, especially the headon

and watch VelaSquez SCHOOL VelaZquez late after the latter punked out and wouldn't go through a hole the size of The BRONX. It was a thing of beauty.

I don't think Cornelio gets enough credit. Everybody knows he's good, but he's rarely mentioned with the very best and he belongs there.

Did you see what he did? When JV finally got the horse in gear to Cornelio's outside, got her to change back righty again, Cornelio drifted out JUST ENOUGH, to deter JV's progress a bit and cost him the race. Beautiful.

Of course, if JV takes the HOLE, he wins for fun.
