TODAY AT PHIL PK I LIKED THE 6 HORSE IN RACE 8 .
I THOUGHT THE HORSE WAS GOING TO BE A SHORT PRICE.
I WAS RIGHT THE HORSE WON AND PAID $3.40,$3.00,$2.40.
I HAD A DECISION TO MAKE,PLAY THE HORSE TO WIN ONLY.
PLAY A EX P/W OR PRESS THE ALL BUTTON.
I INVESTED $50.00 IN THE RACE . IF I HAD PLAYED THE HORSE TO
WIN I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BACK $85.00,IF I PLAYED A P/W
I MIGHT HAD NOT HIT THE EX. I DECIDED TO PRESS THE ALL BUTTON. I HAD A $6.00 EX 6/ALL AND $2.00 TO WIN ON THE 6 .
THE EX COME BACK $69.80, SO I GET $209.40 FOR THE EX
AND $3.40 FOR THE WIN $212.80 TOTAL. SO REMEMBER BOYS
AND GIRLS IT NOT SO MUCH WHO YOU BET , IT'S HOW YOU BET .

That was okay, THAT TIME, but you could just as easily gotten a $10 ex and over time doubt this is good money mgt with such a short priced horse. Congrats on that hit though. I passed the race.

Yeah, for it to be good money management, you have to have a reason to think the first horse will win and the second horse is likely to be a longshot. Otherwise, you may be wishing the money you lost while "winning" would have been a winner on the win wager.

not sure why this is under 'money management skills'. you got 3-1 on your horse. I would have passed. At the very least you should have dropped out the next 2 low odds horses cutting your ticket to 30.00 and getting back at 6-1 odds. At least that way, in the long run, you won't loose so much.
