Karl and AP,

It may well be a good book, but I wonder about saying:

"It describes Geoffrey’s original discovery, first reported in New Scientist magazine, that bad horse behaviour is a significant predictor of poor racing performance."

Somehow, I doubt that ol' Geoffrey was the first to notice this. I know for sure that this is how my Granddad picked horses back in the 1890's.
