DrK is getting out after 8 years of imprisonment. What is the likelihood that the procedure is done on a more quiet basis every day in this country?

Do other countries allow this?

...Do other countries allow this?A reference to Euthanasia? Suicidal mercy-killing ... right-to-die?

Laws around the world vary greatly with regard to euthanasia and are
constantly subject to change as cultural values shift. More on Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euthanasia#Influence_of_various_factors_on_opinion _regarding_euthanasia)

Doesn't the noble savage have a right to his/hers own body?
In the end we are all evolved pond scum.

So you're a creationist?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the pond scum.

And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the expanse and separated the pond scum under the expanse from the pond scum above it. And it was so. God called the expanse "sky."

Regardless of one's religous beliefs, the decsion to end it should be between he and his God. The government has no business at all in that matter.
But then again, the government has no business in a lot of areas.

If you are saying pond scum allow Dr. K to assist them in suicide, hard to argue with that.
But I consider myself better than suicidal pond scum- I'm muninicipal water tank scum!

I wasn't challenging the statement.
However, I would think that I would have the right to if I wished.
