John McKee broke Steve Cauthen's record at River Downs last meet. He then went on to break Cauthen's record at Churchill. I believe both records were for most wins by an apprentice.
He now shows up at opening day for the Inner Track at Aqueduct.
The kid only weighs 106 pounds so he won't ever have a problem making weight.
He faced some good jocks at Ky tracls so he should make a good splash in the big apple.
