Portable MP3 Player Question

Does anyone know of a portable mp3 player, that is not an iPod or a Zune, onto which one can load songs without using WMP? Preferably one that would support a playlist, although a flash player would be acceptable.

I have read these are pretty good pieces for the price. No personal experience though

I got a creative a while ago and think its pretty good and was much less expensive than the iPod for the same amount of storage (which I will never fill)
