I'm with you. First with the Barbaro race, the tv interviewers were all trying to get Michael Matz to chock up and cry on camera, by peppering him with emotional questions. It's sick !

Then when when battaglia was on the presentation platform interviewing Assmussen and Albarado, the TV director instead of going to the planned replay of the race and have the jockey comment on it while its played back; the TV director instead had Battaglia go over the horse breakdown in the turf race, and then albarado jumping/falling off Einsten who had to jump over the downed horse. WHY ? Why go over a breakdown when it was done earlier, its never something one wants to see again. At least Randy Moss on the ESPN broadcast was empathetic and warned that the replay after that race was not going to be good to watch again. BUt the NBC director wanted to do what ? contrast how albarado was put on the ground earlier , and then gets up and wins the Preakness.? What garbage, what crap, the guy is an idiot. Maybe they will hire Nancy Grace next year to get in their face.
