Last out at GP, Dixie Dawn had a poor break and Edgar rushed up in a 21 and change qtr, couldn't get any closer than a chasing 2nd, and she was looking for a gas station when they turned for home.
Today, she's 2nd choice to Bedside Story
has a clear lead
Bedstide Story is stalking on the rail when she gets squeezed back to last just when they're entering the turn
she swings widest of all, moves to third on the turn and makes a bid in the stretch but can't threaten Dixie Dawn
That's the trip end of it.
What do the quant guys say? Which was the better horse.
If BS has her inside trip, does she win?
I'll also mention that DD was hit once or twice in the stretch and ran a very straight path through it.
