No, they are doing it in stages between programs so watch for strangeness there for a bit. I will ask a few friend there about it.

The work will consist of adding a high oil content wax to the existing Polytrack. The re-spray will take between three to six consecutive days with temperatures at or about 23 Celsius. The track will be ready for use immediately after the re-spray.

Currently, the plan is to spray the track for a three-day period, from May 15-17. The Polytrack will be closed for morning training during those aforementioned days. There will be live racing on Wednesday, May 16, as scheduled. First post time is 6:45 p.m.

The next phase of the Polytrack renovation is scheduled to begin on May 29, in an effort to keep the surface from getting too loose.

It includes the addition of one foot of new material composed of sand, fiber, spandex, rubber, wax and jelly cable.
