Tony Blair was truly extraordinary.
He was the leader of the left leaning Labour Party.
He was able to hold that position while all the time getting his right Wing Conservative Doctrines through.
Like a boxer, he led with the left, punched with the right.
And his party tolerated that.

Obviously from the polls the publc had seen enough. His numbers were below Bush's if you can beleive they could get that low.
