SS's jock ..Mr Borel ...has been invited to the White House to meet the
Queen and dine on the cuisine -- only in America ! And of course we are
continually told that the "" Queen owns horses. " Imagine what the tone
of the conversation will be. :lol: :blush:

Protocol demands he's to address the Queen in third person, and not directly.

I'll give 2-1 odds they'll speak directly to each other. :)

On PTI the ESPN show with M.Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser they mentioned the Derby and how they both watched it. They raved about how nice it was to see Calvin Borel and his joy at winning. They made some remarks last week about how racing has no chance at having a Triple Crown winner etc...and that no Triple Crown Winner makes the sport somewhat irrelevant....they were somewhat cynical on the sport. This stuff today was kind of surprising and they seemed genuinely impressed with the sport or at least the Derby and the way it was portrayed.
