And the order for the first season of Banacek is already in. Will be released May 15th, but the second season has "Horse of a Different Colour", my fav. Banacek episode. "How can a valuable, highly recognizable thoroughbred horse start a practice run around an open racetrack and be an unknown nag when it reaches the finish line? Bet on Banacek to solve the puzzle before the horse thieves make tracks with the real article."

Race 6 another layoff. This is a good close race. My top 4 picks 9-3-2-8. Odds now (5 minutes to post) are 8-5, 7-2, 5-1, 6-1. The crowd likes the same horses as me-in the same order, so no value for me. No bet.

Hastings 7th Maiden Special Weight. The 4 is from Hollywood with a 2nd in a Maiden Special Weight. The 1 is from Gulfstream with a 2nd in a Maiden $50000 claimer. The 2 is a first time starter with a 34 2/5 work. And of the ones that have races at Hastings the 3 is the best. Toss the rest. Back in a bit once the odds straighten out.

Well the Hastings horse 5 at 11-1 beat the Hollywood horse 4 at 4-5. Didn't like 5 much, although he is stakes placed.

Banacek, I enjoyed the thread (easy for me to say as I see we think alike on the use of cash) and I hope you do it again some time. Not hard to see why you are so far on the plus side in the early going of the betting year. Much continued success. Also I see that amazon is offering a nice discount of the Banacek DVD will have to check it out. :)
