I think APPEALING ZOPHIE gets the job done here and I am going to tie her up
on top of Upcoming Story. The Beyer on that one couldnt be more wrong, she is bred to take to an off track and there is enough pace to allow her to make her late run.

Good Luck !

I have other plans for the early afternoon (I'll be home in time to watch the Derby), so I decided to go out to Lone Star to place my Derby bet early.

Figured I'd get there for the third. Picked the 2 and was expecting about 4/1. The horse goes off at 9/1. I didn't have much money on me other than my fairly modest Derby wager, so I put $2 WP on the 2. He pays $20.60 and $8.80.

So, I go get the $5 bet voucher giveaway that Lone Star was giving away this week and bet my $25 on the Derby.

Sheesh, I'm already ahead on the day. Dare I say I left for dinner?

off the pace types down the center of the strip have won the lat 2, this track does't appear to be speed favoring....yet. i wonder if the maintenance police are gonna roll the track ?? the distaff was quick.
