im sure you all have heard about cal expo in sacramento thier talking about making a turf course and making thier racetrack synthetic so what is all your takes on this also should the rest of the california fair tracks update thier tracks to synthetic to get more fuller race cards?? Fog8675309 OUT

it wouldn't be cost effective for any of the fair tracks to change surfaces unless they are going to pick up more dates.

After the rest of CA goes aw, I think the fairs should actually benefit by being the only dirt game left in town.

well cal expo is gonna install a synthetic track and a turf course cause they wanna get alot of racing dates for thoroughreds so Fog8675309 OUT

Santa Rosa and Pleasanton are going to get plenty of dates without changing a thing.

pleasenton might become the premier track when Bay meadows closes down so i think the meet will go like this golden gate fields pleasenton cal expo then back to pleasenton so Fog8675309 OUT

In the scramble to get BM old dates,Santa Rosa might be at the top of the heap.They have something that the other fairs do not have as yet--a turf course.
