playing around with some data on the statebred race...

eliminating No Allegiance and Himmarshe as they should add nothing more than possible early pace. Couth has nice numbers, but mostly turf success, coming off a layoff and this race is only going 8 furlongs, he may be a little late with his run.
Papua appears to be a standout.

Trying to draw up a superfecta:

10 w/ 1,4,8,9 w/1,4,8,9,11 w/7 = $16
10 w/ 1,4,8,9 w/7 w/1,4,6,8,9,11 = $20
TOTAL = $36

my second choice goes off at 11-1 and wins by open lengths.

Meanwhile the public crushes my 3rd and 5th win choices down to 1.05-1 !

So my top 2 win candidates are 2.3-1 and 11-1 and I have some fancy backdoor superfecta ...
