For those of you that watch HRTV, Millie Ball will be interviewing me this coming Sunday, April 22, closing day at Santa Anita. The interview is scheduled to air between 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Pacific), but most likely between 11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. (Pacific).
If I can slip in a plug for Pace Advantage, and the great information and discussions on this board, I'll certainly try.

Congrats and good luck! Unfortunately, I don't get HRTV as my cable company does not carry it, and I refuse to go "Dish"

Bob, Don't forget to mention the 50 thousand dollar "JustRalph" Stakes as the 2nd race on the card that day. Remember, there is a 10% bonus on all wagers placed thru Expresbet on that race.
That way, they have a choice..........issue a huge correction and field a ton of calls as to why they didn't pay the 10% or just name the damn race after me.........and pony up..... !!!

Maybe somebody can YouTube the interview?

I've seen a friend's satellite go out too often during heavy rain storms to know that that would drive me nuts....maybe it's just his setup, I don't know....
What in your opinion makes Dish so much better than cable, other than cost (and is it really all that cheaper)?

Hi Pace,
You wrote "I've seen a friend's satellite go out too often during heavy rain storms to know that that would drive me nuts"
I've had DISH for half a decade now and I've probably missed about five hours of TV because of storms in the entire period. It takes a heck of a storm to knock out reception for even a little while.
Also, they don't have back hoes in space. A buddy of mine had his cable service accidentally cut by a construction crew (they took out a few blocks). It took the cable company two weeks to fix it.

Try Verizon FIOS, 100% digital, four times faster internet than optimum and their sports pack has both TVG and HRTV. Unfortunately not available on all parts of Long Island yet
