I understand what your getting at. Alot of racetrack cappers will try to place small wager $2 / $5 / $10 and try to hit large payouts on exotics and long odds selections.

Not really my thing. I typically try to place large wagers (1 unit sports bets) on selections I feel will pay EVEN money. Much like a sports wager.

For myself, and alot of clients, I am placing $500 typically on these wagers.

as far as reading the units vs actual racetrack payouts.... ive done the following

say a show selections pays $3.80.

$2 pays - $3.80

a $100 wager would have paid $90, hence: +0.90 units

thanks Ron... i run the site with two other guyz... i only do the racetrack capping though... they do the sports....

i dont know anything about capping the NBA, etc..... too much work, gotta specialize.... so i stick to the track
