When I had all those Dos prms never had any blue screens of death no crazy things happening on computer that I had no explanation for.
Now, lately, computer has committed so many illegal operations that I fear I might land in jail.
Why can't he make this %$^#&Windows stable?
Windows 98 is the best of a bad lot IMO, very few blue screens. I refuse to upgrade. Linux any better? I've been wanting to try.

CJ...Linux is much more stable not really user friendly and no a lot of programs out there that run on it..hopefully it will sustain the growth it's had the last couple of years.

If you want a modern version of Windows that is stable (as stable as any modern operating system) try Windows 2000. Big, lot's of power and I have yet to have it crash. I only wish I could use it with a certain handicapping program of which I am quite fond, which leaves me stuck with 98. My son uses 2000, downloads crazy stuff all the time, does no maintenance and still can't break it. Best Windows ever.
