Hawthorne-Illinois Derby

Heading to Hawthorne this weekend for the Illinois Derby. This will be my first time handicapping this track. Anyone have any advice? Trainers/Jockeys/Angles?

Anything Chris Emigh rides has a shot.........I havent played this latest meet but sometimes a front running rail bias develops for a few days

Ralph is right. Nowadays we'll see more good rails at Hawthorne than outside biases. Boy how times have changed.

You haven't missed much yet; I have no idea why they race when the FG meet is going since so many barns are down there. Before April 1, its basically 5,6 and 7 horse fields every race and its been that way for a few years.
