Coa, Martin suspended 10 days
The stewards suspended both Eibar Coa and Eddie Martin Jr. for 10 days for what they deemed careless riding in last Sunday's second race.

Martin received his suspension for an incident that occurred shortly after the start when he allowed his horse, Light Classic, to come over on Coa's horse, Laurentide Ice. The stewards held Martin accountable because they believe he should have known Coa was inside of him.
"It surprised me," Martin said about receiving days. "I can't argue with the stewards, they're our regulators. It's their rules, I'm at their track."
Coa received his suspension for deliberately making things tight on Martin entering the far turn. Martin hit the rail and was forced to check hard, losing all chance.
Both riders appealed their suspensions.
