does anyone know if TVG, Xpressbet, youbet, etc. will be taking wagers on the world cup card in Dubai?? TVG did last year but I haven't seen anything on it this year.

thanks

Americatab/Winticket most likely will be taking wagers for most of the races that day. They have shown Dubai on more than one occasion already this year on their site.

Youbet's schedule says they're taking the card starting at 9:40 AM EDT.

Read today in NY Daily News that Churchill is controlling the signal (to the point that unless you are at a track you won't be seeing the big one live) so whoever takes the CD signal now will have it.

In the Albany NY area they will be on OTB-TV. The races that fall inside the "NYRA window" must be shown on a replay basis, by law. I do know that there are negotiations going on to allow them to be shown live but I don't know the likelihood of it happening. Capital OTB will be taking wagering.

Youbet is carrying Dubai. In fact, they are offering double reward points so perhaps they are working with Churchill to build some handle there if Churchill is controlling the signal.

Waste of time there now. Nice bunch to talk horses here. Glad I was turned on to it.

Nick Mordin has done a nice write up of the Dubai World Cup card. I'll see if I can post it or else tell you where to find it. Maybe someone knows where it's available.

He also has speed figures for all the horses.

NYRA will offer full wagering on the Dubai World Cup card if you have a rewards account. The pools will open on Friday if you want to wager a day early. The track will open at 11am and the feature showdown World Cup post time is 130PM eastern time.

Maybe you can stop in beforehand and ask them or even try to call them. It's a pretty popular signal. I'd think they'd want to have it.
