View Full Version : Weight and Odds
I think all of us realize that generally speaking weight off is a sign that the horse is moving ip in class, while weight on means that it is probably dropping in class. I just wonder if the public is as weight conscious as I know they used to be? Does weight on or off effect the horses odds?
JimL:
I would imagine significant weight off may cause odds to drop some if the weight break was due to a hot apprentice. It seems to me the only place I hear weight on/off talked about is with trainers and sheets players.
Depeding on the track, they could affect the odds.
BTW, did you used to be on Prodigy years ago?
