VEry interesting to me. Jock was riding .. almost exactly like the jocks
ride in England .. Ireland etc. He was pretty much standing up :) on the
horse .. just going right along. Then -- when the horse was ready .. he
sat back down .. and Voila #

What about the way that the jock rode Any Given Saturday? JV was looking behind him most of the race -- what a poor ride.

The jock you're referring to skims the rail on everything, thus his nickname (fondly) above. He saved every inch of ground as opposed to Any Given Saturday (who was overconfidently ridden by Johnny V and was wide most of the way) only to lose by a lip to a horse that got a perfect ride in Street Sense...
