Many people don't think he will stretch out to 10F. In fact some didn't think he could stretch out this far and beat very good horses. I think he has been an underrated horse all along, but he's going to have to improve quite a bit more and prove he can run 10F to contend in the Derby.

I see this as a Affirmed-Alydar situation, but on a much much smaller scale (at least now, anyway.)

i just dont get it, he has beaten him in two very serious races, he lugged out just as much/if not more then nobiz did and showed in the fountain he could go another 16th or 8th, yet he still doesnt get much respect. I took my $6.50 to the dollar happily in the fountain and hope to take my 44-1 in future pool 1 as well.

Well, Affirmed beat Alydar by accident every time he faced him but once. And he didn't win that one.

Followed by tanking the Derby?

Well, it could happen.

Which race did Scat Daddy lug out in? The FoY? I thought that was STormello in deep stretch coming out a bit, but...?

I saw Scat Daddy chase down Teuflesberg and win by a neck in the Sanford at Saratoga, and fell in love with them both.

This win today had the most effect on the odds you will get on NobizLikeShobiz.......on Derby day.
