As somewhat of a novice, what advice to you have besides "replacing with a new one?" Just wondered if there is an effective tool and cleaning solution to clean the keys and the little area between the keys ?

As long as you don't have portions of a lunch from 1994 embeded you should do well with a damp cloth & the spray can air cleanerupper thing-a-majigee

come on Bob...........they are Ten bucks....even the nice ones are kinda cheap nowadays........... I keep three in the garage on a shelf, new in the box. If they get dirty or I spill something...........that thunk you hear is the keyboard hitting the trash can.............

You could pry out every key and then use a vaccum with a hose. I did that once. It worked reasonably well. You just have to be careful taking the keys out.

I knew a guy who took his keys out. When he put them back, instead of QWERTY he had GRUMPFISH. So, that's what he named his company.
