The latest barrage of publicity started bouncing around a few days ago, with the news that New Mexico was sticking 500 talking urinal-deodorizer cakes in men's restrooms in bars and restaurants.

Targeted at young men — ah, yes, the 18- to 34-year-old crowd that media outlets so slavishly lust after — the cakes have been used to market beer, liquor, condoms and radio stations.
