What is Jan Rushton being paid to do???
All she does pre race in the paddock is read from the program verbatim.
Aside from the occasional, and I mean occasional, helpful tidbit on a random firster, she does absolutely nothing, in my opinion, to earn her paycheck.
NYRA has been going down the tubes for a long time now and it just never ceases to amaze me how they do absolutely nothing to change anything to help their cause.
Instead they blame the government and NYS for their demise.
On a daily basis we see John Lee, Jason Blewitt and Jan as voices not only representing NYRA, but also racing in general and these, although possibly all nice people, are completely and totally incompetent when it comes to any aspect of this game.
Just voicing an opinion.
My best friends mom is ill so please include him and her in your prayers.
